This sugar bowl from One Acre Ceramics features an intricate pattern on the lid. A matching ceramic spoon comes with the jar. It’s perfect for serving and looks lovely on your counter for daily use as well.
The intricate pattern on the sugar bowl lid was drawn and then hand carved. The sugar bowl and lid were thrown on the potter’s wheel and then finished and assembled when partially dry. After a bisque firing to 1900 degrees, glazes are applied with bulb syringes to different sections of the work, giving a cloisonné-like effect. All work is made of stoneware clay and fired to over 2100 degrees.
The sugar bowl holds approximately 8 ounces.
Size: 3-3/4″ wide x 3-3/4″ tall.
