American Art Studio is a small ceramics business in the high country of Prescott AZ, focus on the production of high quality handmade ceramic décor. Tim Hull’s introduction to clay began in 1992 when he joined his father-in-law’s ceramic production studio, J. Vincent Studios. It was there he was able to explore and learn all aspects of pottery. After J. Vincent retired, Tim, and his wife Kari, continued the family business as American Art Studio. Tim’s current ceramic artwork is focused on a minimalist aesthetic. He strives to achieve a balance of warm natural colors and organic slip drawn design to emphasize a sense of calm and peacefulness. The simple and natural beauty of the West is a constant inspiration in his work.
Tim and Kari raised their two beautiful daughters here in Prescott and have proudly called it home for the last 25 years.
