Modern Printed Matter

Anna Cote started designing and selling cards to local Rhode Island shops back in 2005 as a creative outlet from the artist's Environmental Engineering career. She quickly realized design was her passion and quit her day job to run Modern Printed Matter full-time. Fast forward to today, and over 500 independent retailers across the US and Canada carry her quirky animal themed designs. 

Minimizing the impact her business has on the environment is very important to her. All of her cards and calendars are printed on 100% PCW recycled paper (no new trees). Her greeting cards are paired with 100% recycled kraft envelopes and packaged in biodegradable and compostable clear sleeves that are made from plant material.
