Bear Puzzle in Mahogany

A three dimensional bear-shaped sculpture, made from a single piece of richly-hued mahogany wood.  Its sequentially-cut interlocking pieces hold together while their key piece is in place.  Remove the eye dowel key piece, and the puzzle can be disassembled to reveal a secret figure tucked inside this mischievous bear's tummy: a beehive!  An iconic Class Menagerie design crafted in Peter Chapman's signature style of sculpting and sequential puzzle cuts.

11" long from nose to rear, approximately 5.5" tall, and 2" across at widest.
