Winter Day, Winter Night Egg Ornament

The Winter Day, Winter Night ornament is crafted from a real duck egg’s shell. It features a lighted element, operated by a switch on the back of the egg, which illuminates the ornament’s interior, revealing additional details.

Each ornament comes in a silk-lined gift box, along with an ornament hanger and a description.
The egg is strengthened with many layers each of gesso, paint, and varnish.
The scenes are created with miniature sculpture made by the artist, along with a variety of other materials, and are enclosed behind custom-cut glass.

Duck eggs are approximately 2.5” tall, and 1.75” in diameter at widest.
